¿Qué esperamos de esta actividad dentro del programa de movilidad?

Como maestras que acompañamos al grupo de estudiantes, esperamos que esta experiencia Erasmus+ les ayude a crecer como personas abiertas, respetuosas y empáticas. Queremos que descubran otras culturas, aprendan a convivir en la diversidad y se sientan parte de un proyecto europeo que fomenta la tolerancia y el respeto. 

Creemos que estas vivencias serán clave para su desarrollo personal y social, y les permitirán adquirir valores y competencias que los preparen para un futuro más inclusivo y solidario.

¡Noticias emocionantes desde la escuela Lumen en nuestro programa Erasmus+!

El jueves 8 de mayo, las coordinadoras Erasmus+ de España y Polonia celebraron una reunión online para preparar la próxima movilidad de Terrassa, España, a Gliwice, Polonia, que tendrá lugar del 18 al 22 de mayo dentro de nuestra movilidad KA121-SCH-000203466 Erasmus+.

Durante el encuentro, se revisaron los últimos detalles del programa, la logística, las actividades para los estudiantes y el alojamiento. También se compartieron ideas para asegurar que la experiencia sea significativa, segura y enriquecedora para todos nuestros alumnos.

Estamos muy emocionados y con muchas ganas de vivir esta experiencia internacional junto a nuestros estudiantes españoles y polacos, trabajando juntos valores como el respeto, la inclusión y la cooperación europea.

¡Nos vamos a Polonia con Erasmus+!

Cinco alumnos de sexto curso de Primaria de la escuela "Lumen", acompañados por las docentes Ana Recio  y Laura Morales, han viajado del 18 al  22 de mayo de 2025 en la movilidad ERASMUS+ con el código de Proyecto: 2024-1-ES01-KA121-SCH-000203466 hacia la escuela Podstawowa nr 9 de Gliwice, Polonia.

Después de una larga trayectoria de experiencias exitosas en eTwinning, nuestra escuela da un paso más y lleva a cabo su proyecto “Fostering Tolerance” con Erasmus+. Bajo la supervisión del equipo directivo y la coordinación de la profesora Laura Morales, experimentaremos una nueva movilidad Erasmus+ con nuestros alumnos de primaria. En este viaje, interactuaremos con estudiantes y docentes del centro polaco Podstawowa n r9 de Gliwice, del 19 al 21 de mayo.

Este intercambio es una oportunidad emocionante para nuestros estudiantes de sumergirse en una nueva cultura, conocer a sus compañeros polacos y compartir experiencias educativas enriquecedoras. Durante su estancia, participarán en actividades académicas y culturales que fomentarán el aprendizaje intercultural, la tolerancia y el respeto.

El programa de estudio y visitas será intenso, centrándose en temas como la sostenibilidad, la igualdad de oportunidades y el fomento de la empatía y el respeto en la convivencia escolar.

Nuestros alumnos serán recibidos por sus compañeros polacos, quienes ya participaron en la movilidad de acogida en nuestra escuela hace unas semanas. Será un reencuentro emocionante con el equipo Erasmus+ de la escuela anfitriona, bajo la coordinación de sus docentes y directivos.

Descubrirán el sistema educativo polaco, explorarán la ciudad de Gliwice apreciando sus bellezas y observando las diferencias con nuestra realidad. Visitarán lugares emblemáticos como el Ayuntamiento, el casco histórico y espacios de innovación educativa. También participarán en talleres sobre sostenibilidad, respeto, convivencia y workshops interactivos en inglés.

Esta experiencia será sin duda inolvidable para nuestros alumnos, a quienes se les brinda esta oportunidad gracias al proyecto Erasmus+, un programa de la Unión Europea en el ámbito de la Educación para el período 2021-2027, centrado en valores clave como la inclusión social, la sostenibilidad ambiental, la transición digital y la participación activa de los jóvenes en la vida democrática.

Teacher's Online Meeting to start the Project

On September 26th, teachers from the different countries (Poland, Turkey, and Spain) involved in this project held our first meeting to discuss and agree on the key points of the project.

On March the 4th, teachers from Spain and Poland held an online meeting to arrange the last details for the mobility week (from 10th to 14th March).

ERASMUS WELCOMED!

         

From March 10th to 14th, our Erasmus+ adventure began with Podstawowa n9 School from Gliwice, Poland.

Spanish students with their families welcomed their Polish Friends in Terrassa (Barcelona) Spain.

It was a week full of learning, cultural exchange, and unforgettable experiences.

European Mobility to Terrassa:  Polish students visiting the iconic Masia Freixa, a masterpiece of Catalan Modernism.

Our students had the chance to connect with peers from another country, improve their language skills in English, and grow through collaborative activities and shared values.

A stamping workshop at the Textile Museum of Terrassa, inspired by designs of Sonia Delaunay, the first woman to create textile patterns.

 

A water waste awareness activity led by the OAT at school: two initiatives to promote sustainability and creativity.

 

We enjoyed water games and a water tasting activity to promote the SDGs on clean water and sanitation, and to support our “Fostering Tolerance” project by encouraging respect for the environment and shared resources.

As part of the Erasmus mobility, our 6th graders and the Polish students took part in a sustainability workshop. Forest volunteers from the ADF team visited us with a pickup truck to demonstrate how they use water sustainably when fighting wildfires.

During the “Inclusive Playgrounds” activity, Spanish students guided their Polish peers through the schoolyard, highlighting the areas designed to encourage equal participation, respect, and shared spaces for everyone, regardless of gender.

First Day:

Visit to Barcelona: exploring the iconic Sagrada Família and discovering marine life at the Barcelona Aquarium.

Second Day:

 

Official welcome ceremony held at the school auditorium and at Terrassa City Hall, marking the beginning of an enriching European mobility experience.

Third Day:

On our third day, after classroom sessions focused on the equity axis of our project, Fostering Tolerance (promoting equal opportunities between men and women).

 

We welcomed researcher Isabel Forner from the Institute of Marine Sciences (CSIC), who gave an inspiring talk on women scientists.

Visiting  the Sant Pere churches in Terrassa, a trip through the city's rich history and heritage.

Fourth Day:

Our 6th graders, together with the Polish mobility students, took part in a workshop at school aligned with the goals of our “Fostering Tolerance” project related with the SDG 4,10 and 16. The Respect and Cyber Respect workshop aimed to promote empathy, tolerance, and responsible online behaviour among students.

Afterwards, they participated in an activity focused on our ProBleu project, related with the SDG 14,12 and 13.  Exploring the impact of marine pollutants such as plasticizers and pesticides on fish, turtles, and the development and health of marine ecosystems.

And also about respecting the environment by fighting plastic pollution and learning about our ProBleu Project focused on sea turtles.

From the skyline of the Torre del Palau, we shared the view of our city, Terrassa, with our Polish partners. 

The Textile Museum offered a journey through the city’s rich history and heritage.

 

Fifth day:

On their last day, our polish guests discovered the MNACTEC, the National Museum of Science and Technology of Terrassa, learning about its transformation from a steam factory to a textile museum and the important role of women workers in the textile industry.

Afterwards, both our Spanish Erasmus students and the Polish mobility students were invited by Goel Foundation to a conference called "Disability and Inclusion" led at Unida Auditorium led by Kevin O’Farrell, Director of Education and Participation at the Joni and Friends Disability Research Centre. The talk focused on disability and inclusion, emphasizing the importance of supporting and valuing diversity in our communities.

To conclude, a feedback session was held using "Plickers" to gather immediate responses from participants. Additionally, a collaborative poster was created with post-its where all students shared their thoughts and reflections on the mobility experience.
